Understanding Chiropractic
Why Chiropractic?
Modern life asks a lot of our bodies. Long hours sitting, repetitive work, stress, previous injuries, and everyday wear and tear can all affect how we move and how we feel.
Restore Movement
Release restrictions and restore natural movement patterns throughout your body.
Reduce Pain
Address the root cause of discomfort rather than masking symptoms.
Prevent Issues
Support your body before small problems become bigger ones.
Personalised Care
Treatment tailored to your unique body, goals, and comfort level.
Chiropractic care focuses on how the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system work together. When movement is restricted or imbalanced, the body often compensates elsewhere, which can lead to pain, stiffness, or reduced function over time.
The goal of chiropractic is not just short-term relief, but to help the body move more efficiently and cope better with daily demands.

About Egle
Why Me?
My approach to chiropractic has been shaped by both professional training and personal experience.
I began working as a Chiropractic Assistant in 2018, where I saw first-hand how chiropractic care helped people move better, manage pain, and regain confidence in their bodies. That experience inspired me to train as a chiropractor, graduating from McTimoney College of Chiropractic.
Earlier in life, I experienced a serious car accident that resulted in a fractured pelvis and long-term pain. Going through recovery myself shaped how I practise today. It taught me the importance of care that is individual, thoughtful, and respectful of each person's starting point.
"I believe good care begins with listening. Treatment is always tailored, clearly explained, and adapted to your comfort level and goals."
McTimoney chiropractic forms the foundation of my approach, emphasising precision, balance and minimal force. By combining this with other chiropractic techniques when appropriate, treatment can be adapted to suit a wide range of people - from those seeking gentle care to those who benefit from a more direct approach.
The Technique
Why McTimoney Chiropractic
McTimoney chiropractic is a gentle, precise, whole-body approach.
Gentle Approach
Unlike techniques that rely on force, McTimoney adjustments are controlled and specific, making them suitable for people of all ages and activity levels.
Whole-Body View
The technique looks beyond a single painful area and considers how the pelvis, spine, posture, and movement patterns influence one another.
Natural Recovery
McTimoney chiropractic works with the body, supporting its natural ability to adapt and recover.
This approach is particularly helpful for people who:
Prefer a lighter, more subtle technique
Feel apprehensive about treatment
Want care that looks at the body as a connected system
Is McTimoney Chiropractic for Everyone?
McTimoney chiropractic can benefit a wide range of people, from those dealing with ongoing aches and pains to individuals wanting to improve posture, movement, and overall body awareness.
You do not need to be in severe pain to benefit. Many people choose care to:
Prefer a lighter, more subtle technique
Feel apprehensive about treatment
Want care that looks at the body as a connected system
Care is always personalised, and if chiropractic is not appropriate, this will be discussed openly.
